Frequently asked questions
Are my videos and data secure?
Your data is stored encrypted, only in the EU (Frankfurt), and used only for your own analysis. Details are in our privacy policy.
Can I cancel any time?
You can cancel monthly Pro at any time, effective at the end of the month; yearly Pro, at the end of the paid year. Team runs for 12 months and renews unless you cancel at least one month before the end.
Which video formats are supported?
MP4 and MOV with the H.264 video codec. iPhones record in HEVC by default — switch Settings → Camera → Formats to “Most Compatible” and every video works.
Can I change my plan later?
You can upgrade from Free to Pro yourself at any time in your account. Switching directly between monthly and yearly is not possible yet: cancel the running plan and book the other period once the paid period has ended. We set up Team and custom offers for you, write to hello@lapward.com.
How does the Team plan work?
Team costs €499.99 per year and covers up to 20 users with 1 TB of shared storage. The team admin invites members with an invite link; every user needs their own account. All videos and analyses live in one shared online library. Additional users cost €25 per seat and year (no extra storage). For several teams or more storage we put together a custom offer – write to hello@lapward.com.
What happens after the 14-day trial?
Every new account starts with 14 days of Pro and 5 GB of storage, free of charge. After that you switch to Free automatically: you can compare local videos side by side and view shared sessions. Without an upgrade we delete uploaded videos 30 days after sign-up; we remind you by email beforehand.
On Free, can I receive sessions someone shares with me?
Yes — sessions a Pro or Team account shares with you can be viewed without limit. Commenting and creating your own sessions are Pro features.
Does Lapward work on a phone?
For filming and uploading, yes, right on location at training. The analysis itself, two runs side by side and frame by frame on the keyboard, is done on a computer.
